Steering Box Rebuilds

In order to improve your steering on your early bay we are now offering steering box rebuilds. The service offered is the rebuild of your existing box.

We replace the following items

Steering Peg
Bearings
Seals
Gaskets

The only part we are unable to replace is the worm, if yours is badly damaged we will endeavour to source a better replacement from our stock of parts.
We now of a limited stock of remade worms.

Once the box is rebuilt we fill it with Steering Box Lube and return it to you.

The standard rebuild service costs £275 plus £16 return carriage.
If a new worm is required due to damage then the cost rises to £465 plus the return carriage costs. (**we are currently out of stock of RHD worms)

If the box is supplied in a condition that requires extensive cleaning before the rebuild can commence than our hourly rate of £54 is charged.

We aim to return your box in 5 -7 working days from the time it arrives at our workshop but this is not guaranteed.

The box is Warranted for 12 months from the rebuild date.
